Erie Dee Books is the publishing imprint under which Rae Reneau publishes her books.
The name “Erie Dee Books” came from Rae Reneau’s great-grandmother, who was a great influence on her childhood and whom Rae hopes would have enjoyed the books she writes. Erie Dee inspired a love of delicious recipes, cozy pursuits like crocheting and playing solitaire, and narrative songs and games that have made their way into Rae’s writing. In an effort to honor the woman who had such an impact on her love of slowing down and indulging in cozy pursuits, Rae developed this publishing imprint. The cardinal was Erie Dee’s favorite bird and frequently reminds Rae Reneau of her beloved great-grandmother.
