Hi! I’m Rae Reneau!
Welcome to my cozy corner of the internet! I write new adult, cozy, urban, and epic fantasy stories and adore telling stories that anyone can read. My stories are all clean and tend to have little to no explicit language or scenes in an effort to make them accessible to most readers. As a reader myself, I adore the themes of cozy fantasy and seek to imbue even my more epic and adventurous stories with themes of hope, found family, characters who grow and change, and good triumphing over evil. The world can be a dark place, and I tell the stories that bring me joy and remind me that steadfast commitment to good can be a powerful force against the dark.
When I’m not crafting stories of near-sentient plant-life and elemental magic wielders, you can find me in my home with my family. I’m a wife and mother to three children, and I also am a dog mom to a senior Cardigan Welsh Corgi, affectionately named Dobby the House Corgi. I dabble in keeping houseplants alive and have a number of different succulents, a monstera that wants to take over my kitchen, and a spider plant that might be the closest thing to a spider I’ll ever find tolerable. I call East Tennessee home and enjoy the gorgeous views of mountain backdrops practically outside my door. I teach a couple of acting classes each week to children, and if I’m not writing books, I might be writing plays for my students to perform in front of their families and friends.
